Our Christian Community

In Matthew 25: 37-39 [ESV], on the topic of inheriting the kingdom, it says “ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?  And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?  And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’  And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’

As we follow the words of Jesus, we provide opportunities for our Trinity community to serve and help the “least of these” in our  community.

Paul says in Romans 6: 1-4 [ESV], “ What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound?  By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?  Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We  were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that,  just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we  too might walk in newness of life.”

With our purpose to grow as disciples of Jesus, and make disciples,  we also give opportunities and encouragement throughout the year for individuals to walk in newness of life.

Trinity Lutheran Church has been “blessed to be a blessing!” Through  the generosity of our members, we have been able to support various  outside missions, both locally and world-wide, as we share God’s  “TLC”—tender loving care, with others in His name.
